Clément Léonarduzzi had been president at Ella Factory, which had 12 employees and around 20 clients. With the firm acquired by Publicis, he has now become president of Publicis Consultants - the name given to MSLGroup's PR business in France.
Nicolas Ruszkowski, managing director at Publicis Consultants, will return to the US in January to promote "large multi-market international business opportunities" for the agency, it said in a release.
Léonarduzzi has been tasked with promoting integration in France, which will allow the agency "to leverage strong relationships across the business", Publicis Consultants said. He will report to Agathe Bousquet, president of Publicis Groupe in France.
Léonarduzzi said: "It's a great pride to join a group like Publicis. I intend to build on the Groupe's strengths and talents to meet our clients' expectations and grow our business."
Until 2013, Léonarduzzi was president at consultancy Clekon Conseil, which was acquired by Ella Factory in September that year.
Publicis Consultants is part of MSLGroup’s network of agencies. MSLGroup is the fifth-largest agency globally and recorded revenues of almost $500m last year, according to the 2017 PRWeek Agency Business Report.
