INTERNATIONAL: Boeing selects i&e for comms remit in France

PARIS: Aerospace and defence giant Boeing has hired Paris-based PR firm i&e for comms work across France.

The group has replaced incumbent GCI France with corporate and financial PR specialist i&e as part of an ongoing comms review.

Boeing V-P of international comms Matthew de la Haye said i&e's appointment reflects the firm's change in business strategy.

'Boeing is transforming itself from an aircraft manufacturer to a complete aerospace company. We are also growing around the world and, as part of this, our business imperatives have changed - our criteria for the agencies we hire is also different.'

He added: 'The appointment of i&e is part of a programme of agency reviews across the world, so we can make sure the quality of our agencies is consistent with our growth.'

Formerly known as Information et Enterprise, the i&e account team reports to Boeing EMEA media relations director Jean-Marc Fron.
