Client and agency relationships firm AAR handled the pitch process, as reported by PRWeek in April.

The account, which Fever has held since 2014, includes a revamped creative press office designed to promote a "greater focus on proactive and reactive news hijacking", the agency said.

Fever has also been tasked with creating a series of brand campaigns.

Agency director Caroline Farley, who will lead the account, said: "Content streaming is a fast moving and highly competitive marketplace and the key to success is producing quick turnaround, smart ideas that tap into the news agenda and feel fresh, exciting and ownable."

The on-demand streaming service, which is owned by telecoms giant Sky, allows users to watch TV, films and paid-for programmes without a contract. PRWeek has contacted Now TV for comment.

Fever was established in 2010 as a spin-off from Nelson Bostock, and has recently added clients including Sony Xperia and winemaker Black Tower to its books.
