Strong margins for Frank and Hotwire
Frank PR and Hotwire "continue to trade well with above average margin achievement" in the UK and Europe in the year to 30 June, according to results for Australian parent firm Enero Group. The group's four businesses in the region achieved underlying profit (EBITDA) margin of 19.6 per cent, down from 22.3 per cent last year. The two PR firms together make up around a quarter of the group's total revenue, which were AUD$180.7m (USD$142.2m) in the year, but detailed breakdowns for individual businesses are not provided.
Midas booked for Cheltenham
Midas PR has been appointed by Cheltenham Festivals to implement a media strategy for The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival 2017. This year, the Festival’s theme is 'Who Do We Think We Are?' and will ask key questions around British identity in 2017 and celebrate Britain’s rich literary and cultural heritage. Other Midas clients include Historic England, Henley Festival, Saatchi Gallery, Private Eye and HarperCollins.
FX firm hires Redleaf
Redleaf Communications has been appointed by FX provider Currencies Direct to run its UK PR. The client has more than 450 employees in 23 offices across the globe and offers a range of currency tools and provides money transfers in 120 different currencies. Redleaf has made several senior hires recently.
WPP acquisition in Dubai

Win and hires at Promote
Maidenhead's Promote PR has won a new brief with the London Football Association to raise the profile of its grassroots activities, and has hired three new staff. Leandra Cardozo, formerly of Fuel PR, arrives as senior account manager, while two junior recruits have also joined the agency.
