Innis & Gunn PR brief out to pitch as Manifest steps down over BrewDog conflict fear

Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn is looking for a new PR agency after agreeing an "amicable" split from Manifest, over a potential conflict of interest with the consultancy's new client BrewDog.

The pitch process is currently underway for the Innis & Gunn account, which has been held by Manifest since March last year and includes consumer and trade PR, plus social media and brand consultancy.

Earlier this year, Manifest was re-hired to handle PR for fellow Scottish brewer BrewDog, with the account moving from The Romans.

In a statement, Manifest said: "We've loved every minute of working with Innis & Gunn for the past couple of years, evolving its brand strategy and transforming awareness and sales through award-winning PR campaigns.

"Following BrewDog's approach to once again lead its global creative strategy, we mutually agreed with Innis & Gunn to end our retained relationship to avoid any conflict of interest, and we have assisted all we can in helping them successfully transition to a new agency. We wish them and their new agency the best of luck for the future."
