Kruesmann to head GA in Europe

Gavin Anderson & Company has revamped its European management structure, and is to appoint a new head of its London bureau to replace Marc Popiolek.

Michael Kruesmann, currently CEO of GA's Frankfurt office, is to be appointed European head of the firm. Meanwhile recent recruit from APCO Nick Andrews, will head a pan-European public affairs group, as well as the Brussels office.

The company has begun the recruitment process for a new CEO at the agency's London office. Popiolek is understood to be considering his options, having 'stepped down' from the position.

GA worldwide CEO Richard Constant said: 'Marc has done a good job in London and is considering a number of senior management options. The option of running our London office on a standalone basis is no longer there.'
