At only 29, Anne McNally has vaulted to near the top of State Street’s PR team, emerging as one of the key architects in the rollout of the Fearless Girl campaign. Since joining in 2012, McNally has helped the financial giant re-establish its bona fides in the wake of the Great Recession. She was appointed head of PR in 2015.
McNally and her team were showered with plaudits for work around State Street’s SHE Diversity Index in 2016, as well as its Boston WINS philanthropic initiative the year prior. Fearless Girl was also named the Grand Prix winner in the Glass Lion and Outdoor category at Cannes.
The PR ace is responsible for overseeing the national and global media relations team of 11, and its four national and 12 international external agencies, and executing media relations campaigns backed by a multimillion dollar budget.

McNally leads the development of media comms platforms for the State Street CEO, State Street Global Advisors CEO, and members of the management committee and executive management group.
