Global Continuity to recruit firm for IT services remit

Computer software producer Global Continuity is seeking to recruit its first retained PR agency to promote its IT back-up services.

The company specialises in products that reduce the business impact of system failures and disasters.

Head of comms Jane Windsor confirmed the firm was looking for an agency with 'technical awareness and brand experience'.

She said: 'The account will mainly target businesses but I think everyone is becoming more aware of system recovery software in light of recent virus outbreaks.'

She added that the company hoped to make an appointment in the 'very near future', with pitches understood to be taking place this month.

Global Continuity was formed in 1993 as Adam Associates, rebranding last year.

Its flagship product is the NeverFail system, which seeks to achieve 'zero downtime and zero interruption' to computer systems.
