The listed group, which owns PR shops M&C Saatchi PR, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment and Talk PR, made the statement ahead of its AGM today.
Among the highlights, M&C Saatchi chairman Jeremy Sinclair pointed to the opening of Sport & Entertainment office in Los Angeles, and M&C Saatchi PR winning an account with Virgin.
Overall, the group said it made a "good start" with new business wins in 2017, and said it has confidence for "another successful year for the company".
M&C Saatchi's PR agencies outperformed the company as a whole in 2016, which it labelled an "outstanding year" as pre-tax profit grew 18 per cent to £23.7m ($29.1m).
According to PRWeek’s Top 150 consultancies report, UK revenue at M&C Saatchi PR rose 24 per cent to £7.1m last year, with M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment up 18 per cent to £7m.
Last month M&C Saatchi PR CEO Molly Aldridge told PRWeek two significant wins for the agency and its newly launched PR team in the UAE would open the next chapter in its "ambitious global growth story".
