Robot surgeon among Hanover health wins
Hanover's healthcare arm has picked up three new clients. They have begun work with British start-up Cambridge Medical Robotics and Consultant Connect, a dedicated phone line and app which connects GPs and specialists. It has also helped launch blood pressure monitoring specialist Omron Healthcare, in association with Hanover sister agency The Playbook, which launched last year. Hanover Health welcomed Anna Korving as its chair in January.
Rail body gets Grayling
Grayling has been appointed by industry membership body Women in Rail to deliver an integrated comms brief over the next two years, following a four-way tender. The work has a focus on supporting cultural, organisational and attitude change in the rail industry, and encouraging and nurturing future talent. Grayling already has rail industry clients including Virgin Trains and CrossCountry.
Aberfield bags bioeconomy brief
The York-based National Agri-Food Innovation Campus (NAFIC), a key UK centre for life sciences and bioeconomy businesses, has appointed Aberfield Communications to provide PR support. The agency is charged with increasing the profile of the Capita-owned site, its tenants and its conference centre.
Hope&Glory is first past the post
Hope&Glory has been appointed by Great British Racing to provide PR support for a summer campaign giving under-18s free entry to events. The marketing body for the sport has also asked Hope&Glory to provide digital support on the campaign over the coming months.
Presenter Danni Menzies appoints KPPR
TV presenter and radio show host Danni Menzies has appointed entertainment PR agency KPPR as her publicists. Menzies, who also co-founded the dating app Pitchit, has been named as the newest presenter of Channel 4’s overseas property programme A Place in the Sun, KPPR said.
Travel PR hired to hype ham
Travel PR has won a brief to promote Spanish cured ham producer Cinco Jotas through a UK comms campaign. The agency has been appointed to work as part of a global PR campaign run by Bannigan Communications.
KL content with Rigby
KL Communications has appoitned Alice Rigby as head of content. She comes into the newly-created role having been an investment writer at Hermes Investment Management, prior to which she was a journalist at Investment Week.
