Online music video channel Vevo has appointed specialist music PR agency LD Communications, following a competitive pitch. The agency has been tasked with creating a mix of product and content campaigns across the music and technology sectors.
Interiors retailer calls for Mischief
Interiors retailer Maisons du Monde has appointed Mischief as its first retained consumer PR agency in the UK. Mischief will handle the launch of Maisons du Monde’s 2017 collection in the UK, as well as creating "fame driving" campaigns, the agency said. Established in France in 1990, Maisons du Monde has more than 280 stores throughout Europe.
MSL ups Poncier
Anthony Poncier, who has been at MSLGroup since 2012, has been promoted to the role of head of social and digital, EMEA. He has led MSL's French social and digital team for the last three years, and will now work in partnership with social and digital leaders aacross the agency's EMEA offices to develop the regional practice.

Automotive site motoring.co.uk has appointed Manchester-based agency Tangerine to handle PR for its upcoming rebranding project, as well as manage its traditional and digital communications.
Threepipe wins La Perla ad brief
Italian luxury clothing brand La Perla has appointed Threepipe to run its programmatic display and retargeting strategies in the UK and abroad. The fashion house made its name in lingerie but has since expanded into sleepwear, beachwear, loungewear and menswear.
Elsy makes plans with GK
The independent agency GK Strategy has launched a new service, GK Intelligent Planning, to support developers working on large developments. The team will be supported by Stephanie Elsy, a GK associate who was formerly director of government affairs at Serco. She was also formerly the Labour leader of Southwark Council in London.
Bills plugs playlists
Music PR agency Bills PR has launched a 'playlist plugging service'. It will promote artists it represents to influencers and journalists who create popular Spotify playlists, with plans to later begin work on playlists in other streaming services.
