Consumer PR firm Taylor Herring, which created the campaign, conducted a survey last month on behalf of Samsung to discover the 20 most popular sites in Britain.
Over 2,600 people took part, with the view from the summit of Mount Snowdon judged to be the most picturesque in Britain.
So far the phone has paid a vist to Stonehenge (pictured above), St Ives Bay in Cornwall, Bournemouth Beach and on the Southbank in London. The tour will continue at several of the top 20 locations throughout April and May including Loch Ness, Taylor Herring said. The River Thames is not on the list.
The stunt was picked up in the online editions of several national and regional newspapers today.
