Consilium allies with Baltimore's Westwicke

London's Consilium Strategic Communications has forged a partnership with US investor relations and capital markets advisory firm Westwicke Partners, which has its HQ in Baltimore and additional offices in Boston, New York, San Diego, and San Francisco. The agencies are both focused on the healthcare industry. Through the partnership, they will support existing shared pharma clients Faron, Midatech and NuCana and exclusively recommend each other where new clients operate in their markets. Consilium has nearly 20 staff; Westwicke slightly more.

Clarity validated by PCA win

Address validation and data autocomplete firm PCA Predict has appointed Clarity PR as its global communications agency. The newly-created brief includes b2b comms, content creation and strategy, plus local campaigns. PCA was founded in 2001 by Britons Guy Mucklow and Jamie Turner, and has 11,000 customers across the globe including ASOS, Pizza Hut, Virgin Holidays and HSBC. Clarity was founded in 2012, and has more than 30 staff across its London, New York and Berlin offices.

Zest merges with Towers Design

Towers Design, a content and marketing agency based in Manchester, London and Kent, has been merged with Kent full-service firm Zest the Agency. Towers Design's 18-year old founder and CEO Ben Towers will relocate to Zest's HQ in Kent to take the position of MD at Zest Live, building a new influencer, content and social arm of Zest. Zest and Towers Design had been working in partnership since last summer, and Zest has also been building a PR arm with the appointment of two former Sun journalists last year.

ZoneFox hires Aspectus

PRWeek UK Top 150-listed Aspectus has been appointed by Edinburgh-based cyber security start up ZoneFox to deliver its UK communications programme. Alongside a traditional PR programme, Aspectus will deliver an integrated search and pay per click advertising programme.
