Jephson and Jacobi join APCO

Patrick Jephson, who for eight years was chief of staff to Princess Diana, has joined APCO Worldwide's international advisory council. He remains with reputation management firm JephsonBeaman, a Washington DC-based firm he co-founded, but will work with APCO clients across its US, London and Middle East offices. His wife Mary Jo Jacobi, who has has been an adviser to former US president Ronald Reagen, and worked in senior comms roles at major multinationals including HSBC, Lehman Brothers and Shell, also joins the council.

New creative at Weber

Janelle Feliciano has joined Weber Shandwick's London office as a creative. She will report directly to executive creative director UK & EMEA James Nester. She previously worked for Engine Group across both Deep Focus and WCRS. She started her career at digital agency Weapon7. She has worked with brands including Amazon, Samsung, Nestle and UNICEF.

Storm toasts Fourpure business

Following a competitive pitch, Storm Communications has been by London-based craft beer producer Fourpure Brewing Company. Based in Bermondsey, South London, Fourpure was founded in 2013 by siblings Dan and Tom Lowe. The agency will lead on communicating its 'Inspired by Adventure' ethos to consumer and trade audiences, while establishing the company as a leading voice in the craft beer space.

WPP non-exec to step down

WPP non-executive director Charlene Begley has decided not to stand for re-election at the marcoms giant's June 2017 AGM. The General Electric executive has been on the board since 1 December 2013.

Video win for CubanEight

The b2b agency CubanEight has been appointed by video personalisation firm EchoMany, as it ramps up its focus within the UK market. CubanEight’s brief focuses on building EchoMany's profile across the marketing, media and entertainment sectors. EchoMany delivers campaigns for brands including 20th Century Fox, L’Oreal and Cancer Research, using social data to deliver videos personalised for individual consumers.
