HM+MC to aid City Uni with new-look business school

City University Business School is launching a communications campaign to promote its rebranding and relocation to newly built premises in the Square Mile.

The school has hired Hobsbawm Media + Marketing Communications, formerly Hobsbawm Macaulay Communications, to drive the campaign ahead of its name change in August to the Sir John Cass Business School.

HM+MC, led by founder and CEO Julia Hobsbawm, will support the school's in-house PR team and report to the Dean, Lord Currie of Marylebone and marketing adviser Mary Lou Carrington.

Hobsbawn said: 'We are working with the in-house team on the marketing and PR for the rebrand itself and the publicity surrounding it. HM+MC is acting both in an advisory and hands-on capacity, as a team with Mary Lou.'

The school is moving from its premises in The Barbican Centre to Bunhill Row, London, before the start of the next academic year.
