CLEVELAND: Dix & Eaton named four staffers to executive roles. The firm appointed Matt Barkett chief client officer, retaining oversight of crisis communications; David Loomis as CMO; Kevin Poor as MD, with oversight of creative services; and David Hertz as MD, with leadership of media relations.

WASHINGTON: GMMB hired Angy Peterson as SVP for digital strategy and content. She previously worked as VP of product and experience at Sightline Media Group, the publisher of Military Times, Defense News, Federal Times, and other outlets.

DETROIT: The 2017 North American International Auto Show named Lambert, Edwards & Associates as its digital and social media AOR. It will manage the show’s social media accounts before and during the show and work with sponsors and exhibitors.

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS: Reputation Institute brought on Allen Bonde as CMO, responsible for elevating the organization’s global brand and overseeing its content marketing efforts. Previously, he was SVP of marketing at digital marketing provider Placester and VP of product marketing and innovation at OpenText.

NEW YORK: APCO Worldwide hired Kas Rigas as senior director in the firm’s food, consumer products, and retail practice. He was previously group director in MSLGroup’s consumer practice and SVP in MWWPR’s consumer practice. Rigas has also worked at DKC, Ruder Finn, and Rubenstein Communications.
