M&C Saatchi S&E names Jodie Fullagar head of entertainment
M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has promoted director Jodie Fullagar (pictured above) to head of entertainment. She replaces Dave Roberts, who recently joined Engine's content and marketing agency Trailer Park as MD. Fullagar, who will also join the company's board, has been at the agency for 10 years and helped grow the entertainment offer to a 20-strong team, working with clients including Pernod Ricard brands Ballantine’s, Jameson, Martell, GH Mumm and Havana Club, along with NatWest, Samsung and SAB Miller.
Royal Academy of Engineering makes hire to ‘refresh’ profession’s image
Daniel Rossall Valentine, who has held senior comms roles at Citibank, UBS and Weber Shandwick, has been hired by the Royal Academy of Engineering to head up a programme to "refresh" the image of the profession. Valentine now heads the Academy’s Engineering Talent Project, a programme of marketing, PR, public affairs and grassroots activities. The project is a part of the academy’s bid to solve the UK’s longstanding shortfall in engineering skills.

Trader Vic’s, the Polynesian restaurant and bar situated within London Hilton on Park Lane, has hired Golley Slater London on a consumer and trade PR and social media brief. Yvonne Ottley, marketing and communications manager at London Hilton on Park Lane, said: "We were impressed with the creativity and passion of the team at Golley Slater London. We are looking forward to working together on some exciting ideas over the next year and are raring to go."
