Watch: David Beckham's tattoos come to life in Unicef #ENDviolence film

Video trickery makes David Beckham's tattoos appear to move in a new campaign film released by global children's charity UNICEF.

The heavily inked former footballer David Beckham is the face - or perhaps more accurately, back, arms and chest - of a new campaign raising awareness of violence against children.

The ex-England captain is silent through the film, but is heard in a voiceover at the end saying: "Violence against children marks them forever. It's wrong. End it."

The screen then cuts to the campaign's #ENDviolence hashtag.

The film was created by animation and production studio BlindPig, which notes that while Beckham’s own tattoos were marks chosen to represent happy or important memories, millions of children bear marks they have not chosen: the long-lasting scars of violence and abuse.
