TALLAHASSEE, FL: Visit Florida named JeffreyGroup as its AOR focused on PR efforts in Latin America. The firm will work to secure relationships with media outlets, develop influencer and blogger initiatives, and create strategic campaigns. Florida receives 1.9 million visitors and $2.7 billion in spending per year from Brazil and Mexico combined, according to Visit Florida.

CHICAGO: Cision appointed four senior executives. The company named Chris Lynch CMO, David Barker chief data and research officer, Emir Lindo SVP for global partnerships, and Dustin Johnson as SVP for services strategy and operations. It appointed Kevin Akeroyd as CEO in August.

WASHINGTON: Hill+Knowlton Strategies brought on Scott Reed as a senior adviser, effective on Thursday. He is working for the Chamber of Commerce overseeing its voter-education program, and will continue in that role while he works with H+K. Reed was previously campaign manager of former Sen. Bob Dole’s (R-KS) 1996 presidential campaign and COO of the Republican National Committee.

NEW YORK: DKC rolled out DKC Impact, a division providing pro bono communications and digital services to "small, sustainable nonprofit organizations dedicated to making the world a better place," it said in a statement. EVP Bruce Bobbins and senior digital strategist Dana Bakich will lead the group.

LOS ANGELES: Peter McDermott, partner and principal in Korn Ferry’s corporate affairs practice, joined the Lagrant Foundation’s board of directors. He succeeded Richard Marshall, MD of the global corporate affairs practice at Korn Ferry, who served on the board for four years.

NEW YORK: PR World Alliance elected a new board. Its members include chairwoman Catherine Kable, managing partner of Kable Communication in Paris; Vice chairwoman Perran Ersu Ozcaldiran, president of Persona PR in Istanbul; CFO Henry Feintuch, president of Feintuch Communications in New York, Secretary Lars-Ola Nordqvist, president of Comvision in Stockholm; and director Christian Josephi, president of Panama PR in Stuttgart, Germany.
