PUBLIC SECTOR: Hogarth secures British Property Federation work

The British Property Federation has hired The Hogarth Partnership on a brief to raise the profile of its members' work.

The agency was hired without a pitch and will oversee the publication of the federation's first-ever comprehensive annual study on how the property industry impacts on the economy and on society.

The report has been compiled by economists at the London Business School and Imperial College, and is intended to be the most authoritative source of information on the industry.

Hogarth partners Rachel Hirst and James Longfield will work in the account, and report to the federation's new director-general Liz Peace.

Peace is the former director of corporate affairs and company secretary of the Ministry of Defence's research and development business, QinetiQ.

Her appointment is seen as the driving force behind the ramping up of the Property Federation's communications infrastructure.
