Giant win for Gung Ho
Giant Bikes has hired Gung Ho as the UK retained agency to promote its Liv female cycling brand to the market. The agency will run the UK press office for the brand, as well as creating content for its social media platforms and running activations. Other lifestyle and sports clients of the Birmingham agency include New Balance, Speedo and Garmin. Gung Ho acquired London's Coffin on Cake last year.
Furnivall launches High-Rise
Helen Furnivall has launched Manchester agency High-Rise Communications after six years at the British Red Cross. Furnivall was previously head of UK operations comms and before that head of corporate strategy development at what is one of the UK's largest charities. She is also a former travel trade journalist.
Exposure beds in with Simba
UK advanced mattress start-up Simba Sleep has appointed Exposure as its retained consumer agency in the UK and across Europe, covering France, Germany and the Netherlands.
SLB hires Popplewell
Leeds agency SLB Public Relations has appointed Jenny Popplewell as business development manager. She previously worked for several high-end restaurants operators in sales roles, most recently D&D.
