How 9 brands are taking part in the Mannequin Challenge

Even Hillary Clinton found time on the morning of Election Day to pose for a Mannequin Challenge video, with a get-out-the-vote message, of course.

The Mannequin Challenge is the latest craze to sweep the internet, and instead of standing still, brands have quickly capitalized on the trend.

The challenge appears to have started in late October, when the first tweet with the hashtag #MannequinChallenge was posted. The tweet includes a video clip of a group of students at Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida, posing on top of a table, as still as statues.

Since then, sports teams, media outlets, universities, and celebrities such as Beyoncé have also taken part.

Even Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton got in on the fun, turning the challenge into an Election Day message: "Don’t stand still. Vote today." In the video posted on Tuesday morning, a camera panned through Clinton’s campaign airplane showing the former secretary of state and her staff, including longtime aide Huma Abedin and the candidate’s husband, former President Bill Clinton.
