Palm PR appointed to Abokado brief

Food and drink agency Palm PR has been briefed to establish a media presence for London café chain Abokado, and communicate its core 'Feel Great' values in a PR and social campaign. There are 28 Abokado sites across the capital, and the business was founded in 2004.

Sauce hires Canet

Sauce Communications has appointed Sarah Canet as a director tasked with building the firm's international division. Canet, previously MD of Spoon PR since April 2011, brings four international chef clients with her, and will join existing Sauce clients such as chef Jason Atherton, restaurant group D&D London and hotel group Relais & Chateaux.

Mason to lead The Full Service

Maruska Mason, a business director at creative agency Grey, has become the first MD of full service agency The Full Service. The agency is owned by Rankin, the group led by photographer John Rankin Waddell, better known under his working name Rankin.

Honey's Chinese wins

The Honey Partnership has been appointed by a further four Chinese consumer tech firms - mobile security app developer Cheetah Mobile, smart projector brand XGIMI, VR equipment firm 3Glasses and hardware and software maker Snoppa. The London, Reading and Shenzhen agency has now won 10 Chinese clients this year.

Adelie appoints Mercieca

Food supplier Adelie Food has appointed Mercieca to handle PR for the company and its Urban Eat brand, and the company as a whole.

Barber takes helm at charity

Samantha Barber, most recently director of external relations at veterans housing charity Stoll, has become chief executive at U Can Do It, a small charity providing IT training for people with disabilities.
