Prova wins Euro Car Parts

Autos, tech and environmental PR firm Prova has been appointed by Euro Car Parts. With 200 outlets in this country and elsewhere in Europe, the US-owned firm is the UK's largest car parts and accessories retailer. PRWeek reported in the summer that Euro Car Parts was looking to appoint a lead agency for the first time. Prova began work late last month.

Rule 5's Pleasure Beach win

Agency Rule 5 has been appointed by Blackpool Pleasure Beach on a retained brief around the amusement park’s new £16.25m rollercoaster, Construction MMXVIII, due to open in 2018. The agency's work on the coaster began at a press conference in Germany last month, announcing the news of what will be the UK's first 'double-launch' rollercoaster.

Human Race hires Speed and Earnie

Mass participation events company Human Race has appointed Speed Communications and the creative agency Earnie to help drive awareness and participation of February 2017's Cancer Research UK London Winter Run. The two agencies joined forces to pitch together for work on the 10km run. The Earned Agency was appointed last year to handle PR for the wider Winter Run portfolio.

Richmond Towers picks up drinks brand

Richmond Towers Communications has been appointed by independent drinks business Global Brands to launch its Franklin & Sons range of premium tonics and soft drinks to consumer audiences in London and other major cities. The aim is to create buzz amongst consumers through PR and brand partnerships while engaging the premium hotel, restaurant and bar sector.

Hardie enters Cave as marketing chief

International law firm Bryan Cave has appointed Keith Hardie as director of marketing for Europe. He was previously law firm Bird & Bird's head of marketing and comms for Europe, and was the commercial director of Baseline, a joint venture launched by Bird & Bird and management consultancy ASE. He has also worked at Thames Water and the Post Office.
