Prova wins Global Autocare
Car care products firm Global Autocare has appointed Midlands agency Prova PR as its public relations provider. It will work to build awareness and drive sales. Other Prova clients include Honda, The AA and the Motorsport Industry Association.
Webgains calls on Rooster
Performance marketing company Webgains has appointed Rooster. The London-headquartered company operates in 14 markets, and Rooster's brief is to communicate the service and results it provides to clients including Nike, Samsung and Ann Summers.
Beattie makes Falkirk investment
Beattie Communications, which has eight UK offices, has opened its £120,000 conference centre, video and content studio and training facility in Falkirk. The business is also creating what it calls a 'vlogger dating forum' - initially a digital platform but potentially a live event in future - to connect brands with vloggers. Beattie opened in Canada in the summer.
MHM wins restaurant and agent
MHM, the profile management and communications agency set up by Mark Hutchinson in 2011 has won briefs with vegetarian restaurant The Gate, and literary agent Ed Victor. It also began working with Bloomsbury Business Books on a campaign for its book A Good Disruption earlier in the summer.
Corcoran and co join Clark
Clark Health Communications has taken on new director Deborah Corcoran, formerly of Waggender Edstrom (now WE). New head of finance James Todman and senior account director Hannah Walsh joined earlier in the summer.
New hires at McOnie
The McOnie Agency has taken on new account director Michelle Smithson, formerly of job site CV-Library. Earlier in the summer the agency appointed account director Luffa Khnom-Ramsden, and gave a new role to adviser Bill Nicholls, the founder of tech agency Whiteoaks Consultancy. Nicholls is now non-executive chair.
