The agency will work closely with the fashion retailer’s in-house team as well as other agencies to develop its comms strategy, under the leadership of Karen Millen’s new chief executive Beth Butterwick.
Aisle 8’s co-founder Virginia Norris will lead the account and the agency plans to kick off the partnership with a Spring/Summer 2017 press day, scheduled for the end of October.
The Karen Millen account represents a step change for the agency, which has previously worked on niche beauty and fashion accounts.
Earlier this month, it was appointed by French beauty brand Eisenberg Paris to help launch the brand in the UK and in February, the skincare brand Immunocologie appointed it to handle brand communications.
Last year’s wins include online fashion retailer Atterly Road and on-demand beauty service blow LTD.
