Roberts to Trailer Park

Engine's content and marketing agency Trailer Park has appointed M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertinament deputy MD Dave Roberts to lead its UK operation. Trailer Park clients include Disney, Apple, PepsiCo and Intel. Engine also owns MHP and Synergy Sponsorship, among other firms.

MHP works with Franchise Brands

MHP has announced that it handled financial comms for the flotation of Franchise Brands, the global multi-brand franchise company. Franchise Brands floated on AIM in August when it raised £3.5m. The company, headed by executive chairman Stephen Hemsley, the former CEO and current chairman of Domino’s Pizza, has more than 350 franchisees in 12 countries under its main brands ChipsAway and Ovenclean.

Pub17 hires Fleet Street

Pub17, a trade show for the pub trade, has appointed Fleet Street Communications as its PR agency, following a four-way pitch. The show takes place at London Olympia in February with more than 200 exhibitors.

Hawthorn hires pair

Hawthorn, the comms consultancy established by John Evans and Ben Elliot in 2013, has hired new associate directors Daniel Rolle and Jen Stebbing. Stebbing joined earlier in the summer was previously head of video at Evening Standard and Independent owner ESI Media, while Rolle moves from Burson-Marsteller at the beginning of October.
