INTERNATIONAL: Lewis dedicates £1.4m to growth in the US market

SAN DIEGO: Technology agency Lewis PR has committed £1.4m to marketing and expansion in the US as part of a plan to quadruple US revenue by the end of next year.

Lewis founder and CEO Chris Lewis said he aims to double the US staff headcount during the next nine months and boost revenues to nearly £3.5m.

The agency, which has offices in San Diego and Boston, is moving its marketing team, headed by business development director Morgan McLintic, to the US to build the Lewis brand in the tech market.

Lewis said the marketing team, which will be based in San Diego, will be doubled in numbers to ten. 'We're going to have marketing people in each of the offices, so there'll be someone co-ordinating local activity, but the fact is that the technology market is 80 per cent dominated by the US,' said Lewis.
