Watch: eBay tackles plus-size fashion myths in Reset the Rules campaign

eBay UK is releasing a series of films in a social campaign tackling misconceptions around plus-size fashion, as it launches its Curve Hub.

The hub aims to make it easier for shoppers to find and browse plus-size clothing. eBay’s marketplace hosts over eight million items of size 18+ fashion items.

The three short films, starring plus-size models Tess Holliday and Bishamber Das, as well as a ballerina and a fitness instructor, were created by the agency Rubber Republic as part of its ongoing work for eBay UK.

They ask questions including "Can you be a happy bride at any size?" and "Can you feel sexy at any size?" to tackle the idea that happiness equates to being slim, and call for a shift in attitude, saying: "Whatever your body type is, if you’re happy and comfortable with it, that’s the ideal size."

The first video was released today, with the following two to come over the following weeks on eBay UK’s social media channels.
