IHG hires for Kimpton expansion

Jacque Riley has taken the role of brand director for InterContinental Hotels Group's Kimpton offering in Europe. Riley was previously Kimpton's director of comms for the eastern US region. IHG is also looking for a PR agency to help launch Kimpton in Europe, with its first opening due in Amsterdam next year.

NFL takes on agency for German offensive

Sports and entertainment agency Lagardère Sports has been hired by the NFL to increase its standing among sports fans in Germany. This will include work across the NFL's digital and social platforms. Last month the NFL appointed a new agency to its roster of UK agencies.

Red Savannah appoints The PC Agency

Tour operator Red Savannah, which was established in 2011 by travel industry veteran George Morgan-Grenville, has chosen The PC Agency to represent its public relations in Europe. The PC Agency was formed earlier this month by Paul Charles, a former BBC News presenter and Virgin Atlantic senior comms executive, after he split with business partner Julia Perowne.

FinchFactor wins We Are Pi

Agency FinchFactor has been appointed as global PR partner for We Are Pi. Calling itself an 'ideas company', We Are Pi aims to "provide a modern alternative to the traditional ad agency networks", according to FinchFactor. Both firms have their headquarters in the Nertherlands.

BDO hires Petal & Co

BDO, the world's fifth largest accountancy firm, has appointed Petal & Co as its retained PR agency for the North West. BDO employs more than 300 people in Manchester and Liverpool. The agency's brief is to highlight the strength of BDO’s expertise and sector insight.
