TORONTO: Burson-Marsteller and Edelman veteran Bob Pickard has teamed up with pollster Nanos Research and former MS&L and Procter & Gamble executive Janice Mandel to launch Signal Leadership Communication.
Pickard and Mandel are serving as the Toronto-headquartered firm’s managing partners, while pollster Nik Nanos is the firm’s partner while maintaining his role as chair of Nanos Research.
The agency will address "the intersection of digital media with traditional corporate communication," according to a statement.
Pickard and Mandel both started their careers as staffers in Hill & Knowlton’s Toronto office.
Pickard has served as Huntsworth’s chairman for Asia-Pacific, president and CEO for Asia-Pacific at Burson-Marsteller, and president of North Asia and representative director for Japan at Edelman.
Mandel most recently served as president of String Communications and was previously VP of corporate affairs at Tarion, VP at MSLGroup predecessor MS&L, and senior manager at Procter & Gamble, according to her LinkedIn account.
