Jackie Cooper PR usurps Edelman on Cranium brief

Jackie Cooper PR has replaced Edelman PR Worldwide on US boardgame sensation Cranium's UK PR account.

The win follows a series of meetings between consumer PR agencies and the makers of Cranium, which took place while they were in England for the London Toy Fair earlier this year (PRWeek, 8 February 2002).

JCPR account director Kim Holliday heads the brief, with support from agency co-founder Robert Phillips.

The game, created by former Microsoft executives Richard Tait and Whit Alexander, was an overnight success in the US, where more than 800,000 units have been sold.

The UK PR account will focus on promoting the UK edition of the game.
