Shilland Comms to handle launch of Jack magazine

I Feel Good Publishing (IFG) has turned to Shilland Communications for PR surrounding the launch of monthly men's magazine, Jack.

The agency was appointed after a four-way pitch and will oversee next month's launch of the UK's first A5 men's glossy format magazine, which is to be edited by James Brown, the creator of Loaded and former editor of GQ.

Shilland Communications MD Peter Shilland refused to reveal information about the content of the magazine and his planned 'substantial' launch PR strategy.

'I think Jack will come as a surprise to many,' said Shilland Communications MD Peter Shilland, who will report to Brown.

Shilland account director Kavita Bhandari will lead a four-strong team as the agency prepares for the launch of the debut spring/summer edition on 25 April.

The second autumn/winter edition will appear on 25 August, and the title will become monthly from October.
