Fulford to set up London office for own consultancy

The retained Asia-Pacific agency of General Electric and Exxon Mobil is to launch in the UK next month.

Fulford PR founder and MD Linda Fulford will be returning to London in April to establish a UK office for her consultancy, which launched in Singapore in 1999.

Her move back to the UK was spurred by a combination of personal and professional factors, particularly the ability to present UK clients with Asia-Pacific expertise.

'I don't want to stop in England (and will) look at other Asian markets, such as Shanghai, in due course, ' Fulford said.

While she identified a drive by UK clients to expand into Asia, Fulford earmarked the consultancy's Asian operations as a base for growth.

Fulford said some of her firm's clients with offices in Asia and Europe would find it 'useful' to work with an agency, such as hers, that can provide a 'unified approach to PR in the two markets'.
