The idea was developed by PR agency Manifest and one of its strategic partners Strange Thoughts.
The buttons will go on trial and, if successful, will be rolled out later this year. Kozel is currently on the hunt for three 'Beer Button Bashers' to test them out and is encouraging any beer lovers to volunteer via Twitter – tagging a friend in a tweet using the #PushforPub hashtag. Once the individual arrives at the pub, they (and a friend) will have two pints waiting for them.
Chris McLardie, Kozel’s brand director, said: "Life’s little complications can sometimes get in the way of a good time. Whether it is a cancelled train, a last-minute 5.30pm meeting, or that report your boss requests as you walk out the door, obstacles can derail our best-laid plans. The Kozel Tap Out button is your ultimate shortcut to good times, getting you and your friend to the pub in comfort and style. Push the button and you could be enjoying a delicious Kozel in minutes. No stress, no fuss, just fun."
