Laurie has spent 13 years in broadcast journalism, including stints on BBC Breakfast, as anchor on BBC Radio 5 Live, and as a business correspondent for the World Service.
He was also the BBC’s Europe business reporter at the height of the financial crisis during 2008 and has been a news reporter for Sky News and a video journalist for Voice of America.
Laurie’s experience extends to the marketing world, with early career forays as marketing manager for Go Fly and as brand manager for United Biscuits.
At CNC, where he took up his role on Monday, Laurie will work with the agency’s clients on crisis management, reputation management and corporate communication.
