Edelman Digital has made four new senior appointments across its North Asia practice.
Andrew Ryder joins as North Asia strategy director. He joins from Isobar in Hong Kong, where he led the strategy and social team over the past two years.
Ryder has more than 12 years’ industry experience across Hong Kong, China, Uganda and Canada, and will be responsible for Edelman Digital’s strategy development in North Asia.
Geoff Dossor has also joined the agency as Japan digital creative director, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in Japan’s marketing and digital comms industry.
He was previously chief creative officer at MRM Japan and COO of I&SBBDO Proximity. He has managed digital accounts for the likes of Microsoft, Nestle, Johnson & Johnson and BMW.
Edelman Digital has also hired Tetsu Fujikawa (pictured, left) as Japan creative director. He will be charged with creating innovative digital experiences for brands.
Fujikawa has previously worked in France, Singapore and the US, advising clients including Lamborghini, Nissan, Sony and Gap.
Finally, Masaki Gunnarson (pictured, right) has joined the agency as Japan digital social, paid and analytics director.
Responsible for helping brands grow their social engagement strategy, Gunnarson has 15 years’ experience and has worked for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Nike, HP and Barclays.
