The entertainment, music and film shortlists were published this morning at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, with prizes in the former two categories to be handed out tomorrow, while film prizes are awarded on Saturday.
The shortlists for the remaining awards will be published tomorrow, and Saturday will see the final awards ceremonies.
Edelman's two nominations were for work by its Los Angeles office in brand or product integration categories, for video game Call of Duty. This work had also been nominated earlier in the week in the media awards, and the PR Lions.
In the music category, Ketchum's Chicago team and its client, the FMCG brand General Mills, are nominated twice, in the categories of original composition for a brand or campaign, and production of exclusive artist content in partnership with a brand. This is for the mixtape released on April Fool's Day, celebrating the firm's products in collaboration with artists from the firm's Minneapolis hometown.
There are no PR firms represented on the shortlist for the entertainment awards, but there were two nominations for the Swedish creative agency Forsman & Bodenfors, which had won the PR Lions Grand Prix on Wednesday.
