Jim is a 20-year leader in our company and our industry. Financial services and the methods by which we all communicate have evolved in many ways during those years. What hasn’t changed is that disciplined comms remains core to our ability to serve customers and communities, and to help drive the real economy.
He has helped us adapt to new times and techniques of connecting. My 200,000 teammates and I depend on Jim and his team to ensure we are clear and consistent in communicating across many audiences, and that we are using the right channels at the right time.
Jim has put in place the processes and organization to ensure a simple, straightforward narrative is the foundation for all our comms. Jim also is skilled at applying analytical methods and research to ensure our narrative, which is based on a clear strategy and operating principles, remains focused, but tailored to the moment and the messenger.
