After 49 people were killed by a gunman in the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, communicators on both sides of America’s ongoing and highly contentious gun control debate began crafting new messages in response to the attack. PRWeek public health reporter Alison Kanski runs down what has been said and by whom.

Ketchum is restructuring its leadership in a move that will replace its executive committee with a group of global leaders. "I’m happy to say we are putting in place a group that can bring new voices and perspectives from around the world and be the flexible and dynamic team that can reflect the business we’re in," said Ketchum CEO Rob Flaherty.
