Brisbane-based communications firm KDPR has announced a series of new business wins in 2016.

The agency has been retained to handle PR strategy for Icon Group, Australia’s fastest growing cancer care provider. The company is also moving ahead with its expansion into China and Singapore, which KDPR is also supporting.

In addition, the agency has been appointed by local restaurant Burger Urge, helping boost its brand awareness and promote its campaigns, which include its new Donald Trump burger in honour of the US presidential election.

Finally, agricultural industry recruiter Agri Labour has also hired KDPR to help with its comms strategy. The company helps source employment for ex-servicemen and women.

Kristin Devitt, KDPR managing director, said: "We continue to creatively push the envelope with every piece of work delivered. The fast pace of digital innovation in our sector provides us with the opportunity to broaden our storytelling tactics.

"The core message remains the same but there are so many more ways to slice and dice and serve it up to our clients’ target markets. The key is knowing which serving is most palatable."
