Hughes most recently ran the global team for HTC at Fever, and before that she ran the consumer arm of Firefly Communications. Her new role will involve overseeing key client work after a new business drive, the agency said.

Nick Fishleigh returns to the agency as associate director after a two-year stint at MSLGroup, where he worked with brands including Alcatel, the Tizen Association and PFU Fujitsu.

Sarah Martinez also joins as an associate director, having held the same position at The Red Consultancy. H+K said she would take a strategic role, developing integrated comms platforms for her clients.

Charlie Morgan, MD of H+K’s technology team, said: "They join our 30+ strong team at a time of rapid growth and we’re very much looking forward to their contribution to lead a range of integrated communication programmes across our clients."
