Golin has announced that Jane Morgan is joining the agency as managing director of the Hong Kong team, with Jeremy Walker taking on a regional role focusing on travel and hospitality clients.
Morgan joins Golin from Edelman, where she was director of consumer marketing in Hong Kong. Before that, she was at Ketchum in London and then Hong Kong, and she began her career in-house at McDonald’s.
"I am particularly excited by the opportunity to lead the Hong Kong team and to further bring the g4 vision to life," Morgan said. "Golin has a unique culture, ambition and drive that is extremely infectious.
"I love that we describe ourselves as the nice guys who kick-ass! I’m looking forward to getting started and helping our clients to deliver outstanding, integrated work both here in Hong Kong and across the region."
Walker’s new role as head of client development, travel and hospitality, Asia, comes as Golin is increasing its expertise in these sectors.
He will work together with other IPG Media agencies in servicing clients in these industries and look to grow Golin’s portfolio both regionally and globally.
"I’m looking forward to taking on this expanded role and to have the opportunity to grow our business by focusing on a sector that has enormous potential," he said.
"Taking the great work we do locally and helping connect the dots, innovate and grow these engagements regionally will be critical to our future success."
Both will take on their new roles on 27 June, reporting to Jonathan Hughes, Golin’s president for Asia.
Hughes said: "I am thrilled that both Jane and Jeremy have agreed to take on these new roles. Amazing things happen when you have great people doing what they love.
"Anyone who knows Jane knows what a passionate, nurturing and driven leader she is. And anyone who knows Jeremy knows how creative and knowledgeable he is when it comes to travel and hospitality."
