Recently merged 3 Monkeys Zeno has been awarded the European comms brief for ZyXEL, a global provider of broadband networking technology. It will serve as the lead PR agency for the firm's UK and European hub for content marketing and thought leadership, reporting to European comms director Mick Paddington.

Cognito hires from Grayling

Yvonne Maher, who previously spent ten years at Grayling, has joined Cognito as a director. She will specialise in corporate comms and international PR for financial services, professional services and energy clients.

Golley Slater PR wins LDF

LDF, a provider of SME finance services, has appointed Golley Slater to handle its comms. The agency’s Leeds office, led by MD Eileen Stretton, will raise the profile of LDF by creating content and news for the SME market, to dispel the fear and misconceptions of non-bank finance to growing businesses.

Red Door's social hire

Health agency Red Door Unlimited has appointed Antia Buhigas to help deliver a new consumer health proposition, while advising on social strategy across the ethical PR portfolio. She holds the role of head of social, having previously held the same title at Pegasus.

Cartwright wins Branston

Branston, one of the UK’s largest potato suppliers, has appointed Cartwright Communications. The East Midlands-based PR and digital agency will support the company's PR activity and deliver creative campaigns.

Amorino works with Way to Blue

Way to Blue has been appointed to handle the UK consumer PR for international artisan gelato group Amorino. The retained account will be led by Alan Twigg, and will include media relations, events, experiential and an extensive product placement programme.

Social Chain moves to Berlin

Social Chain, a Manchester-based social media marketing agency, has opened its first overseas office in Berlin to begin its expansion into the European market. The agency has hired Matthias Schmid as MD to oversee operations in Berlin. Previously, Schmid has worked for video marketing agency Videobeat.

MWWPR hires Edelman's Anushia Nair

MWW Public Relations will bring in Anushia Nair to join its London team as an account director to strengthen the agency’s offering across the technology, telco and media sectors. Before this, Nair was an account director at Edelman.
