WPP has announced changes to its executive committee in Australia and New Zealand, with the appointment of Kieran Moore as CEO for PR and public affairs from 1 June.
With more than 30 years’ experience in both international and local PR, Moore was previously CEO of Ogilvy PR Australia, a position she held for five years. She joined the agency in 2011 from Howorth Communiations, where she was managing director.
Moore will continue to spend half her time with Ogilvy PR, and the rest overseeing WPP’s 17 PR, public affairs and government relations agencies in Australia and New Zealand.
"I am looking forward to working with WPP ANZ’s PR/PA agency leads to continue to develop, improve and add capability to the collective businesses," she said.
"Ultimately, it’s all about driving great results for our clients and the greater these results, the more successful the agencies."
Moore’s appointment was announced together with that of Ben Dixon to the newly created role of CEO for data investment management.
Mike Connaghan, WPP CEO for Australia and New Zealand, said: "Our PR and data investment management divisions are now very large and very important drivers of the total group growth.
"Being able to call on Kieran and Ben, experts in their fields, overseeing, mentoring and creating better connectivity is going to be a huge benefit to all our people, companies and clients."
