Australian boutique agency Kite Communications has hired Patrice Pandeleos as general manager.

The move comes as founding general manager, Heather Mollins, becomes associate director of Kite and sister issues management agency Sefiani.

Pandeleos brings more than 14 years’ experience to Kite from several of Australia’s largest media organisations, including OMD, MediaCom and Network Seven.

Most recently, Pandeleos was business director at marketing and advertising firm Carat. She has expertise in integrated communications, planning and digital work.

As part of Mollins’ new role, she will expand Kite and Sefiani’s footprints into Brisbane.

She will lead creative and consumer engagement strategy, and drive new business in Brisbane, particularly in the financial services, travel, property, education and FMCG sectors.

Robyn Sefiani, managing director of parent company Sefiani Communications Group, said: "The appointment of Patrice, Heather’s new role and the establishment of a Queensland office for Kite and Sefiani, are the latest exciting developments at Sefiani Communications Group.

"Patrice’s considerable skills and contacts across the communications spectrum will enable Kite to deliver innovative campaigns through the integration of paid, earned and owned media to inspire consumers and build brands."
