The Public Relations Consultants Association of India has elected a new managing committee, of which Nitin Mantri, CEO at Avian Media, has been reappointed president.
Alongside Mantri, Sunayna Malik, managing director of Text100 India, has been selected as vice president, and Aman Gupta, managing partner of SPAG Asia, has been appointed secretary.
The PRCAI was established in 2001, and its elections were held earlier this month.
In addition, regional leaders were chosen, with Rohit Srivastava at Melcole PR as chairperson for the north chapter; Sumathi Chari at PRHUB for the south chapter; Paresh Chaudhary from Madison PR for the west chapter, and Basav Bhattacharya at Integral PR for the east chapter.
All positions have a two-year tenure from 1 May.
Mantri said: "It’s an honour to be appointed once more as president of the PRCAI. The PRCAI has been doing some great work in building and enhancing benchmarks relevant to our industry.
"Along with the new team, we intend to continue focusing on the areas of knowledge, ethics and expertise, and create more platforms for the industry to showcase its feats."
