Brew has 20 staff and operates in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, with clients including Oracle, blogging platform WordPress and L'Oréal's Women in Digital initiative.
In January it was acquired with immediate effect by London's Freuds, which had revenues of £28.4m ($42.6m) and employed 213 staff in 2014.
Since the acquisition, Brew CEO Dena Cook and founder Brooke Hammerling have remained in place, reporting to Freuds CEO Andrew McGuinness.
PRWeek UK has learned that the agency intends to open a UK office in the coming weeks, and that recruitment for this new base would begin soon.
The company declined to comment, including on whether the new base would be within Freuds' offices near Oxford Street.
