Shine @ The Academy wins Casio

Shine @ The Academy has been appointed by Casio as its retained PR agency following a competitive pitch. The work will focus on the watchmaker's Edifice range of timepieces, and maximising its F1 sponsorship. The work will be led by agency MD Lawrence Collis. The agency was created by a merger in January.

Red to lead RNLI fundraising drive

The Red Consultancy has won a competitive pitch to provide support for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's forthcoming Mayday fundraising campaign. The RNLI, 95 per cent of whose staff are volunteers, aims to raise £750,000 through the campaign, which kicks off next week. Red's work will be led by board director Emily Morgan. The agency joined the charity's roster of agencies early last year.

Stir PR works with Mind

Following the result of an office vote, Stir PR has begun work with City and Hackney Mind, the local branch of the national mental health charity Mind. Stir will provide consultancy on the charity's strategy and is preparing to assist with the relaunch of its Take a Pause campaign in May's Mental Health Awareness Week.

House to promote Countryfile Live

House PR has been appointed to handle PR for the inaugural, four-day BBC Countryfile Live event, held at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire in August. The work was awarded following a competitive pitch. Countryfile Live is being produced by SME London under licence from BBC Worldwide.

Whiteoaks briefed by Omnico

Tech PR firm Whiteoaks has begun work with customer experience consultancy Omnico on a campaign to build brand awareness among its target markets in theme parks, attractions and retail.
