Indian PR agency SPAG Asia has announced its expansion into Singapore, and has hired Julia Lai as country head.
Lai brings more than 20 years’ PR experience to the role, having held senior positions at agencies including Hill+Knowlton Strategies, WE and Lewis.
"SPAG has built an excellent client portfolio and has been recogniaed for its value proposition ‘Be Real’ that brings together creativity, research and measurable impact to every campaign," Lai said.
"I am very excited about bringing the same value proposition to clients in Singapore and South East Asia."
She has particular expertise in crisis management and public affairs across a broad range of industries such as healthcare, lifestyle, aviation, travel and FMCG.
Lai will be responsible for business development and building SPAG’s capacity in Southeast Asia, focusing on the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
SPAG’s client base already includes, PhRMA, AdvaMed, Danone, Medtronic, Pfizer, Abbott and Boston Scientific.
